Fresno, CA – Jan. 27, 2025 – Fresno Madera Farm Credit (FMFC) is pleased to announce a cash patronage distribution of $14.6 million to its member-borrowers reflecting its ongoing commitment to sharing the cooperative’s financial success with those it serves. The distribution, equivalent to 0.75% of each member’s average daily borrowing, will be issued in mid-March 2025.

“This patronage reflects the strength of our cooperative model and the deep partnership we’ve built with our members,” said Jeff Yribarren, FMFC Board Chairman. “It’s a testament to our shared commitment to long-term success and resilience in the face of challenges.”

“Our member-borrowers have faced a difficult year, with high input costs and softer prices for many of the region’s crops,” said Keith Hesterberg, FMFC President and CEO. “This is when the reliability of our patronage program makes the greatest impact. It underscores the key benefits of our business model – creating access to capital and returning financial value that reduces borrowing costs.”
